The Gurkha His Majesty’s Reserve is made with tobacco that’s been aged for 18 years, and each cigar is soaked in Louis XIII de Rémy Martin, a cognac that sells for $2500 a bottle. This gives it that nice, complex flavor and aroma that sets it apart. If you want to get your hands on His Majesty’s Reserve they sell for $750 per cigar or $15,000 a box.
2. Gurkha Black Dragon
Another magical cigar, the Gurkha Black Dragon is a limited edition cigar released in 2006. Yes, the Black Dragon is rare and exclusive, not only because it is made of the world’s finest tobaccos but it’s luxury price tag. At $1,150 per cigar or $115,000 a box, you can be one of the select few to own the Black Dragon.
3. Arturo Fuente AniverXario
The AniverXario is one of Arturo Fuente’s most expensive cigar. To honor their 100th anniversary, Arturo Fuente released limited edition humidors crafted of ebony, sycamore, maple, or walnut, each containing 96 pieces.
The AniverXario was made with tobacco aged for seven years so you can imagine just how incredible this cigar tastes. The price tag for the AniverXario? $7,500 per box.
4. Cohiba Behike
In 2006, the Behike was created specially to commemorate Cohiba’s 40th anniversary. The legendary cigar brand released 4,000 of the hand rolled cigars, encasing them in 100 limited edition humidors. Not only rare for the limited number produced, the Behike is made with the rare Medio Tiempo leaves. They sell for $450 each, or $18,000 per box.
5. Arturo Fuente Opus X
Arturo Fuente’s Opus X cigar was first debuted in 1993. To commemorate its 10th anniversary in 2003, Arturo Fuente released the Opus X Edition that featured a humidor containing 100 cigars. Only a lucky few have their hands on one. Price tag: $30,000 a box.
6. Regius Double Corona
The Regius Double Corona is truly legendary, not only for its sweet, smooth taste but for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity it comes with. 7. Mayan Sicars
Who knew, the Mayans were cigar-connoisseurs. They hand-rolled their own version called sicars or sikars, dating back to around the 12th century. In 2012 they were discovered by archaeologists in a Guatemalan village, and they’ve since auctioned sold for $507k.
8. Gurkha Royal Courtesan
The title of “World’s Most Expensive Cigar” goes to the Gurkha Royal Courtesan. This baby sells for a cool $1 million. Diamond-encrusted with up to five carats, and encased with real gold leaf, this cigar roll is class all the way.
